The Pumpa SW2 level meter is a device for measuring the water level in boreholes, dug wells, and tanks. Depending on the probe used, the level meter can measure levels up to 100 m >with a resolution from 0.1 m.
The level meter consists of a probe and a control unit. Based on data obtained from the hydrostatic probe, the unit displays the height of the water column above the probe. Measurement may be affected by current atmospheric pressure; however, the deviation caused by atmospheric pressure changes is at most ±0.3 m from the actual water level.
S1 – standard boreholes with water levels up to 40 m.
S2 – standard boreholes with water levels up to 70 m.
S3 – dug wells, pits, retention tanks with water levels up to 10 m.
S4 – boreholes with water levels up to 100 m.
The SW2 units include a temperature sensor on a 2 m cable. The sensor is used to measure ambient temperature or, using a sleeve, water temperature in pipelines (e.g., for geothermal boreholes). These sensors are paired with a specific unit.
